Welder/Fabricator/Mechanic

This position performs skilled mechanical work functions associated with welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of city automotive and mechanical equipment. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and performing general mechanical repair work on city vehicles, emergency vehicles, and machinery, as well as providing direction to lower-level workers. The position requires operating a variety of machinery and tools to service, repair, and test equipment while ensuring safety and maintaining accurate records.
