About this role

The Wellness Counselor Intern at Rocketship Public Schools provides school-based mental health services to general education elementary students across one to two campuses in the East Bay/San Jose region. The role focuses on supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs through individualized and group services within an inclusion model. The intern collaborates closely with school staff, special education teams, and families, and may participate in crisis support and safety planning. This is a term-limited, school-year role that includes a completion stipend and follows a site-based staff calendar.
