The Work Queue (WQ) and Charge Capture Analyst serves as the primary liaison between the Department of Neurological Surgery and the off-site professional coding team, facilitating the resolution of coding and charge capture issues. The role oversees charge capture activities, analyzes billing denials, and provides operational reports to improve revenue cycle performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This position supports all Neurosurgery programs across multiple campuses and affiliated clinics while maintaining expert knowledge of professional fee billing regulations and payer requirements.
