The position is the primary University of Maryland professional responsible for managing and implementing the university's Workers’ Compensation program in accordance with policies and state and federal regulations. The role ensures timely reporting and investigation of workers’ compensation claims, serves as the primary contact with the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund (IWIF), and provides guidance to injured workers and departmental designees.
