About this role
The Ecological Restoration Crew Leader for The Nature Conservancy in West Virginia supports restoration of high-elevation red spruce forests and mountain stream habitat within the Monongahela National Forest as part of the Central Appalachians Spruce Restoration Initiative. This is a full-time temporary field position (approximately April 6 to October 1, 2026) based in Elkins, WV with on-site training provided.
