About this role

The Youth Intake Specialist supports the Runaway, Outreach, Notification, and Intervention (RONI) Project and the Denver Anti‑Trafficking Alliance High‑Risk Youth Multidisciplinary Team. The role involves taking initial runaway police reports, conducting screenings, coordinating case management, and providing safety planning and resources to youth, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

Take initial runaway police report and complete screening tools
Assist parents/guardians with law‑enforcement reporting when needed
Provide community overview of the RONI Project and related resources
Manage cases and deliver coordinated support to youth and families
Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in department databases

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Child Development or related fieldValid Driver's License
