The Zero Drowning Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and supporting the implementation of a drowning prevention program across participating Miami-Dade County Public Schools. This role serves as a central liaison between schools, district departments, and community partners to ensure the safe and equitable delivery of swimming and water safety education. The coordinator manages student registrations, coordinates transportation, ensures compliance with privacy regulations, and supports program evaluation and continuous improvement.
