Local Initiatives Support Corporation

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is a national nonprofit community development organization that connects local community groups with capital, technical assistance, and partnerships to build inclusive, resilient neighborhoods. LISC provides lending, grants, capacity-building, policy and research, and programmatic support across affordable housing, small business, health, education, sustainability, and other community development areas. Working through local offices and national partners—foundations, corporations, government, and nonprofits—LISC finances and supports large-scale neighborhood revitalization, wealth- and workforce-building, and community-led development.
