About this role
The ABS Tech is a seasonal, field-level role supporting Major League Baseball’s Automated Ball and Strike (ABS) system, located at the plate to support the umpire and capture system performance data. The position requires regular onsite attendance at ballparks, completion of a correspondence training program before solo work, and coordination with MLB game-night support staff. Candidates will help ensure the ABS application and related technology function properly during games and contribute feedback for ongoing operations improvement.
