About this role

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Graduate Embedded Software Engineer Intern to support its Embedded & Specialized Computing section within the Cyberspace & Mission Technology Department. This full-time, onsite role in El Segundo, CA, involves research and development of innovative embedded prototypes for image and signal processing, accelerated computing, and AI/ML at the edge. The intern will translate cutting-edge research into mission-critical space systems to advance next-generation satellite capabilities for defense, civil, and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software solutions for novel processors and on-board processing systems
Prototype and test embedded software on diverse platforms including Linux-based SoCs and FPGAs
Design and optimize algorithms for low SWaP embedded implementations across image and signal processing
