About this role

The 2027 Future Talent Program offers a 6-month cooperative education opportunity within the Protein and Structural Chemistry department's Boston Structural Chemistry group. Participants will gain hands-on experience with modern structural biology workflows, including X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM, to determine high-resolution structures of therapeutically relevant targets. The role supports structure-based drug discovery across various research programs and provides exposure to multidisciplinary drug discovery efforts in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

Determine high-resolution structures of therapeutically relevant targets and drug-target complexes
Conduct protein crystallization screening and cryo-EM sample preparation
Process diffraction or imaging data and perform structure determination and model building
