Academic Non-clinical

The postholder will lead the design and development of a novel, harmonised data model and research-ready maternity database that integrates routinely collected data from maternity and hospital information systems. The role involves conducting original methodological and applied research, acting as the primary interface between clinical and academic researchers, and leading a systems integration work package to enable information exchange between maternity and other NHS systems. This position supports the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium in delivering rapid, reproducible evidence to address inequalities in maternity outcomes.
