Accountant IV (NS)

This position leads the preparation of annual financial statements and note disclosures for the State Retirement Plans (SRPs) for external audit. The role involves monitoring investment management fees, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) practices. The accountant also assists in preparing the NC Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and manages budget operations for the SRPs.
