This role involves applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines to maintain complex accounts within established accounting systems. The position is responsible for reconciling state credit card and Bureau of Insurance accounts, resolving nonstandard accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Employees also prepare financial reports, forecasts, and collaborate with programmatic staff to resolve accounting discrepancies.
