A Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct, patient-facing nursing care in an inpatient setting for individuals with acute and chronic physical, emotional, or psychological health needs. The role serves patients across specialties (cardiac, oncology, stroke, post-surgical, palliative, psychiatric, end-of-life) and is guided by Jean Watson’s Theory of Human Caring.
