About this role

This role supports administrative and operational needs within the orthopedics department by managing patient flow, charting functions, and medical records to facilitate high-quality care. The incumbent coordinates bed assignments, transcribes physician orders, and interacts with caregivers, patients, and visitors while handling non-clinical clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

Manage daily patient flow and coordination of bed assignments
Maintain and organize patient medical records and discharge charts
Transcribe physician orders and update medication logs accurately
Coordinate communications among caregivers, patients, and visitors
Process data entry for billable service charges in selected departments
