Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an integral part of the Orthopaedic Trauma team, providing patient care by examining patients, interpreting special tests, and directing treatment plans. This role involves emergency room and consult triage, assisting in surgery, and performing selective medical and surgical services under the direction of physicians. The position also includes taking trauma calls, generating income through billing, and educating patients on orthopaedic services and treatment plans.
