About this role
The University of Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) to join the Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine team with a focus on orthopaedic trauma. The APP will autonomously assess, diagnose, and initiate delegated medical treatments for inpatient trauma and surgical patients, managing pre- and post-operative care, wound management, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds and operating room assistance.
