Advisor, Competitive Intelligence – Inside-the-Data-Center Technologies

Ciena is seeking an experienced Advisor, Competitive Intelligence to lead competitive efforts focused on Inside-the-Data-Center (ITDC) technologies. This strategic role combines market, business, and technology analysis, competitive positioning, content development, and stakeholder enablement to help Ciena understand and anticipate market shifts and respond effectively to new and emerging competitive threats. The role supports a broad cross-functional audience, including Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Line Management, Strategy, CTO, R&D, and executive leadership.
