Agriculture & Standards Inspector I

Under immediate supervision, this role involves making inspections and enforcing laws and regulations pertaining to the California Food and Agricultural Code, Business and Professionals Code, and the California Code of Regulation. The position includes learning and performing pest regulation and prevention, inspecting and testing weighing and measuring devices, and verifying consumer transactions and product quality. The incumbent will also perform related work as required to support the department's agricultural and standards inspection functions.
