About this role

Tenex seeks an AI Strategist to partner with Fortune 500 executives and engineering teams to redesign workflows, deliver AI roadmaps, and drive adoption of agentic AI solutions. This role requires owning client engagements from initial strategy audits through final rollout, acting as a bridge between C-suite leadership and technical implementation teams while working alongside partners like Anthropic and Vercel.

Responsibilities

Conduct AI strategy audits to surface and quantify inefficiencies in client operations
Design and execute rapid sprints translating strategic goals into actionable technical workflows
Lead C-suite stakeholders to align on high-ROI AI initiatives and operational roadmaps
Collaborate with Forward-Deployed Engineers to build and ship agentic AI solutions live
Drive adoption and measure success by ensuring deployed AI workflows are actively used by teams

Skills

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in strategy, operations, product, or workflow designTrack record of redesigning business workflows or processesDaily hands-on experience with modern agentic AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or ZapierBackground in consulting, AI-native companies, or management firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG) is a bonus
