Ambulatory Medication Access Coordinator

The Ambulatory Medication Access Coordinator provides expert-level support to the Prime Healthcare Ambulatory Services Team by managing complex ambulatory pharmacy workflows, including referral processing, patient scheduling, and insurance evaluation. This role serves as a liaison between providers, pharmacies, insurance carriers, and patients to streamline medication access, reduce financial barriers, and ensure continuity of care. The position requires comprehensive expertise in prior authorization management, specialty medication access, and the 340b program to assist patients with medication access and financial assistance.
