Anaesthesia Assistant

The Anaesthesia Assistant works as an integral member of the peri‑operative team at IWK Health, supporting anaesthesiologists with patient monitoring, pre‑operative preparation, and anesthesia planning, including procedural sedation and PICC line placement. The role involves providing technical support for awake intubations, difficult airways, and emergency situations, as well as educating health‑care professionals and introducing new technology.
