About this role

The Analyst, Real-World Data & Healthcare Analytics at Baxter performs within the Advanced Surgery Medical Affairs team to generate real-world evidence by extracting and analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets. This role focuses on leveraging the Premier Healthcare Database to support value-based care initiatives, budget impact models, and product utilization analyses for hemostatic and sealant portfolios. Candidates will develop automated reporting pipelines, build interactive dashboards, and translate complex data into actionable insights for clinical and economic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Perform targeted data extractions from proprietary healthcare datasets using SQL
Clean and validate hospital-level data to support real-world evidence analyses
Develop automated reporting pipelines and reproducible data workflows
Build interactive dashboards to track product utilization and waste metrics
Prepare datasets for budget impact models and cost-effectiveness studies
