Animal Control

Under general supervision, this role enforces ordinances and statutes related to animal control and shelter operations, including capturing, confining, and euthanizing stray, diseased, and dangerous animals. The employee maintains a clean and safe shelter environment, provides custodial care for animals, and exercises independent judgment and tact in public interactions. The position requires responding to service requests, investigating animal cruelty cases, and providing testimony in court.
