About this role
An Apprentice Lineworker participates in a structured apprenticeship program to develop the technical skills and knowledge required to become a Journeyman Lineworker. The position combines classroom instruction and progressive on-the-job training under close supervision, with advancement contingent on completing required apprenticeship levels and assessments. It is a safety-sensitive, union role subject to DOT testing and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful Completion Of Preceding Apprenticeship Levels

- Pass Apprentice Power Lineworker Entrance Exam
- Pass Climbing School
- Valid Puerto Rico Driver's License (Category 9 or commitment to obtain)
- Commercial Vehicle Permit (NTSP)
- Driver's Record (DTOP)
- DOT Drug Test & Medical Certification
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
