About this role

An Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant (APRN/PA) will be a vital member of the ENT Team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). This provider will assist physicians with clinic operations, organize patient visits, and perform clinic procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinates specialized, multidisciplinary care and facilitates consults of patients to ensure timely and appropriate treatment
Provides comprehensive health assessments, determines diagnoses, implements treatment plans, prescribes medical treatments, and manages health issues for patients in collaboration with the designated physician
Collaborates with a variety of health care professionals to diagnose and manage patients' health care problems, serving as a resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
Manages post procedure immunosuppression and labs of the patient in coordination with the physician and pharmacist
Participates in institutional initiatives and encourages the participation of others
