About this role

The Assay Scientist will join PerkinElmer's OneSource Scientific Services team at the GSK Stevenage customer site, conducting routine laboratory research, performing biological assays using manual and automated techniques, and analyzing and reporting data. The role works within a collaborative environment supporting R&D activities in biology and life sciences, reporting to a PerkinElmer team leader.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory research activities including cell culture and sample preparation
Conduct biological assays using manual and automated techniques
Analyze and report data applying quality control rules
Track assay performance metrics and suggest methodological improvements
Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
