About this role

As an Assessment and Authorization Functional Lead, you will drive Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO). You will partner with engineering and mission teams to scope controls, assess risk, remediate gaps, and sustain continuous monitoring to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.

Responsibilities

Lead Assessment and Authorization efforts to improve efficiency and reduce timelines
Perform security control assessments and produce Security Assessment Reports
Develop and maintain security documentation including System Security Plans
Coordinate Authority to Operate decisions with Authorizing Officials
Tailor NIST controls to impact levels and support RMF authorization decisions
