The Asset & Loss Mitigation Specialist protects VyStar’s interest in collateralized and non-collateralized loans by managing bankruptcy and loss mitigation workflows. The role oversees bankruptcy processing, coordinates with attorneys and third-party recovery agents, and develops remarketing strategies to maximize recovery on collateral. The specialist ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and maintains accurate loan coding and reporting to mitigate financial and regulatory risk.
