About this role
The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) is a licensed behavioral health clinician who provides short-term, surge, and on-demand non-medical counseling coverage supporting military service members, their families, and children/youth at military installations and affiliated schools and programs. The Summer ARC specifically covers assignments during the May 15–September 15 period and may be placed in DoDEA schools, youth programs, camps, and community readiness centers. The role requires flexibility to accept short-notice assignments across military bases and coordination with installation points of contact.
