The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) is a clinically licensed behavioral health professional who provides short-term, surge, and on-demand non-medical counseling support to military service members and their families at installations, schools, and youth programs. The role covers temporary assignments (including a summer coverage window) and requires being local or willing to relocate and obtain independent licensure. ARC counselors coordinate with installation points of contact to ensure services are delivered within scope and support readiness and family well-being.
