The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) provides short-term, surge, and on-demand behavioral health coverage for military service members, their families, and youth at military installations and schools. The position covers seasonal assignments (notably May 15–September 15) and requires counselors to be local or willing to relocate and obtain independent licensure. ARC counselors coordinate with installation points of contact to deliver non-medical counseling, outreach, and program coverage across varied on-site settings.
