Assistant Facility Security Officer

The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) supports a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)-qualified Facility Security Officer in managing industrial security programs at cleared facilities. Responsibilities include processing employee security clearances, administering DISS and e-App systems, managing classified documents, and ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The role requires strong knowledge of federal government security regulations, forms like SF86, and the ability to provide oversight for classified projects while coordinating with legal and IT teams.
