Assistant to the Chair

The Assistant to the Chair provides executive support to the department Chair and manages academic human resources functions for the HCDE department. This role involves coordinating faculty appointments, promotion and tenure processes, and visa applications while maintaining confidential personnel files. The position also handles administrative duties, event planning, and serves as a liaison between the Chair and various university and external stakeholders.
