About this role

This role focuses on administering assets for complex hedge funds within Northern Trust's Global Hedge Fund Administrator team. The incumbent performs daily reconciliations of transactions, security positions, and cash flows for trading activities while managing OTC trade confirmations and settlements. They also liaise with trading desks, counterparts, and legal departments to resolve economic, legal, and operational discrepancies in derivatives.

Responsibilities

Perform daily reconciliation of transactions, security positions, and cash flows
Confirm OTC trades on electronic platforms or via paper systems
Liaise with trading desks and counterparts to resolve trade discrepancies
Manage settlement of swap cash flows including premiums and resets
Streamline operational processes for OTC products and automated software

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Quantitative Discipline4-6 years of experience in Financial Services1-2 years in Derivative affirmation and settlement processExperience with DTCC Deriv/SERV or SwapsWire platformsPreferred Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
