About this role

The Associate Director, Pharmacology & Bioassays is a scientific leadership role focused on advancing Absci’s biologics discovery and preclinical pipeline by ensuring rigorous pharmacology and bioassay strategy. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert in pharmacology and mechanistic biology, translating complex biological data into program-relevant insights that inform decisions from early discovery through IND-enabling studies. The position partners closely with Protein Engineering, HTS, and Disease Biology and reports to the Head of Disease Biology.
