About this role

The Associate Scientist will support functional arrayed genomic screens in advanced in vitro models, performing mammalian cell culture, transfection, transduction, and high-content imaging assays. The role involves optimizing and miniaturizing cell‑based assays for high‑throughput screening and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure biological relevance and reproducibility across Amgen’s therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

Support execution of functional arrayed genomic screens in advanced in‑vitro models
Carry out mammalian cell culture, transfection, transduction, and functional assays
Optimize and miniaturize cell‑based assays for high‑throughput automated screening
Leverage high‑content imaging to profile cellular phenotypes and states
