CSPNJ is seeking a full-time Bachelor Level Crisis Counselor to join the Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams (MCORT) in Middlesex and Union counties. The role involves responding to 988 crisis center dispatches to provide immediate support, crisis intervention, and stabilization for adults experiencing mental health, substance use, or suicidal emergencies. The position requires developing individual care plans, linking clients to community resources, and collaborating with stabilization provider networks to ensure ongoing support.
CSPNJ is a peer-led not-for-profit organization, providing flexible, community-based services. CSPNJ promotes wellness and recovery through the provision of community wellness centers, supportive housing, and crisis respite centers for people with the lived experience of behavioral health conditions and substance use.
