About this role
The Essel and Menakka Bailey Conservation Fellowship is an 18-month early-career fellowship at The Nature Conservancy based in Michigan that provides recent graduates and emerging conservation professionals a chance to work across conservation science, policy, restoration, land protection, and communications. Fellows pursue one of two project tracks — Forest Biomaterials or Community-Based Support for Conservation — collaborating with TNC staff and external partners to develop actionable strategies and deliverables. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, applied research, and professional development to prepare Fellows for careers in conservation.
