Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct support to the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and the delivery of scheduled programs. This role involves observing patients, performing delegated clinical tasks, and facilitating psychoeducational groups to promote a positive therapeutic environment. The position requires maintaining a safe facility, documenting patient care, and applying crisis intervention techniques as needed.
