Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician works under the supervision of the Director - Behavioral Health and assists patients with activities of daily living, monitors their physical condition, and leads educational discussions. The role involves observing and reporting patient behavior, intervening as required, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu conducive to quality patient care. The technician establishes therapeutic relationships, conducts observation rounds, and communicates patient needs to caregivers. Additionally, the role includes performing patient care tasks, intervening in safety violations, and providing educational groups.
