Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician provides compassionate, hands-on support to patients experiencing behavioral health and substance use concerns in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role involves assisting with patient care, observation, and daily activities while promoting safety, dignity, and a therapeutic environment. The technician works under the direction of the clinical care team to monitor patient behavior, document changes, and respond to crises using de-escalation techniques.
