Bereavement/Grief Counselor

The Bereavement/Grief Counselor plans and implements interventions to support families and caregivers of hospice patients for thirteen months following a patient's death. The role involves assessing grief counseling needs, developing care plans, and providing direct counseling and referral services to bereaved clients and the community. Additionally, the counselor supervises volunteer staff and delivers educational presentations on bereavement topics.
