BHPSO

The BHPSO provides safety and security to patients, healthcare workers, and the unit by responding to situations to de-escalate potential escalating and unsafe situations. Under the direction of licensed nursing staff, the role assists in maintaining a secure environment, performing duties such as patient escorts, inventory management, and conducting environmental safety rounds. The position serves as a liaison between the Behavioral Health Unit and Protective Services while supporting staff safety.
