Breastfeeding Peer Counselor - Temporary

A part-time, temporary WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor provides basic breastfeeding information, encouragement, and support to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers in the Cleveland County Health Department. The role involves counseling participants in person and over the phone, promoting breastfeeding, distributing educational materials, and managing breast pump inventory under supervision. Counselors must serve as positive role models and make referrals for issues beyond their scope of expertise.
