Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor supports the Indiana WIC program by providing evidence-based breastfeeding education and assistance to pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding clients within the clinic and community settings. The role involves maintaining a compassionate clinic environment, facilitating breastfeeding classes, and collaborating with healthcare providers and community partners to promote whole-person healthcare. This position requires a candidate who is representative of the local population and has personal breastfeeding experience.
