A Building Inspector (Part 9 Residential) reporting to the Manager, Inspections & Deputy Chief Building Official, responsible for ensuring compliance with the Ontario Building Code for single-family residential and accessory structures. The role includes performing on-site inspections, area surveillance, and liaising with property owners, contractors and other stakeholders to support safe, code-compliant construction.

Qualifications

- BCIN - HVAC House
- BCIN - Plumbing All Buildings
- Certified Building Code Official (CBCO) (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) (asset)
- Full Member, Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) (asset)
