Building Inspector

This role involves performing intermediate technical work to inspect building construction for compliance with state and local codes, reviewing plans and permits, and maintaining related records. The position requires field inspections of residential construction and existing structures, issuing warnings for violations, and testifying in court as necessary. The Building Inspector works under the general direction of the Chief Building Inspector.
