Building Inspector

Under the supervision of the Chief Building Official, this role conducts technical building inspections to enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and ordinances. The position involves researching new construction materials, providing public information, and performing code enforcement duties including National Pollution Discharge Elimination System and Fats, Oils, and Grease Control inspections. The inspector also issues permits, maintains records, and conducts post-disaster evaluations.
